A stone lithograph c.1977 by Alaska artist R.T. "Skip" Wallen (b.1942) entitled "Willow Bull." The work depicts a bull moose during the rut, or mating period, in the Alaskan autumn when bulls eat very little and spend their time seeking mates and, having found them, trying to keep them from other bulls. Sparring and battles between bulls often ensue with the clash of antlers ringing through the air. Titled lower center, marked 99/150, dated, and hand signed in graphite lower right. Matted within a dark frame measuring approximately 26.5" x 33.5" overall.
