An original oil on canvas entitled "Pink Geranium in a Blue Bowl by Alaska artist Carol Crump Bryner (b.1945), depicting a white chair with turned legs and cane seat originally belonging to the artist's Grandma Crump and having resided in her father's childhood bedroom until her grandmother moved into a nursing home. Each grandchild was allowed to choose something from the house and the chair was packed up and sent to Anchorage, and is the subject of several of the artist's paintings. Here, it supports a lovely blue bowl housing a pink geranium amid dappled sunlight. Signed and dated c.2005 in the artist's hand, lower right, the work is housed in a minimalist frame measuring approximately 38.5" x 30.25" overall.
