A substantial but partial Yup'ik grass-coiled basket with a broad zigzag and starburst design pattern woven from a kaleidoscope of dyed golds, black, purple, magenta, greens, pinks and red stitching. The basket has a double coiled rim, but a complete loss of the basket foundation, and overall fading or fraying of the natural fibers, as shown. Measures approximately 14.5" x 12" tall.
