Mid to late 19th Century fashionable silk or beaver top hat by Dunlop & Co., with hat band and aesthetically turned sides, plus its antique leather oval hat box with carry lid. The top hat has some wear, commensurate with age, and the crown with loss of the fibers especially around the seam; the hat box with significant wear, loss, a broken handle, and flaking of the leather. Hat measures approximately 21.5" / US 6 7/8 x 7" tall.
