Designed as a striker fired 9mm handgun, the TP9SF evolved from the TP9 series, originally inspired by the Walther P99, and was tailored for military, law enforcement, and civilian use with a focus on reliability and affordability. Known for passing rigorous 60,000round torture tests while maintaining NATO accuracy standards, it has gained a reputation as a budget friendly yet durable option for shooters. This example, serial number T647219 AT 10894, features a 4" barrel chambered in 9mm, delivering a compact yet effective platform for concealed carry or range use. It includes four magazines, typically 18round capacity each, a Canik standard, along with a case for storage. The pistol sports a polymer frame with textured grips, fixed three dot sights, and a match grade barrel, weighing approximately 28 ounces and measuring about 7.5" overall. Its semiauto striker fired action offers a crisp trigger pull, enhanced by Canik’s focus on ergonomics and performance. In fair condition, this Canik TP9SF functions properly despite a broken grip section, as photographed, indicating visible damage but no impact on operation. Manufactured in 2019, based on the "T647219" prefix per Canik’s serial numbering conventions, it reflects a recent production run. With four magazines and a case included, this pistol remains a practical choice for shooters or collectors, offering value despite its cosmetic flaw.
