Chambered originally in .30 WCF (Winchester Center Fire), later known as 3030 Winchester, the Model 94 became synonymous with hunting and the American West, selling over 7 million units across its production run. Renowned for its lightweight design and rapid fire capability, it remains a favorite among shooters and collectors for its timeless appeal and reliability. This example, serial number 1340990, features a 20" barrel chambered in .30 WCF, offering a compact yet effective platform for deer and medium game. It includes a tubular magazine, typically holding six rounds in this configuration, paired with a walnut stock and blued steel finish characteristic of early postwar models. The rifle sports open sights, weighs approximately 6.5 pounds, and measures about 38" overall. Its lever action system provides smooth operation with a classic sideloading gate for quick reloading. In fair condition, this Winchester Model 94 shows visible wear consistent with age and use, yet remains fully functional. Manufactured in 1942, based on the serial number 1340990 per Winchester’s official records, it hails from the World War II era of production. With its historical significance and operational integrity, this rifle offers a compelling piece for shooters or collectors valuing a vintage .30 WCF lever action.
