Category: Art

Twenty-one vintage Alaskan color photographs, all directly from the estate of Harvey (1900-1980) and Ellen Goodale (1915-1991). The examples show numerous completed paintings from the broad body of work performed by the couple, likely having photographed every work they completed for their archives. Harvey has annotated one of the photographs in the back as pictured, writing, "The figure in the background is being tossed in a blanket - one of their games". The largest measures approximately 5" x 3.5". Lots 1-28 and 30a are sourced from the same historic collection.
