Six photographs, two of them colored, directly from the estate of Harvey (1900-1980) and Ellen Goodale (1915-1991). The grouping includes beautiful Alaska landscapes, such as a river at the base of the Chugach Mountains along the Seward Highway, a Copper Valley fishwheel, and, of particular interest, a photograph of a painting entitled "Alaska Chilkat Village" by Sydney Laurence, and another entitled "Tongass Sunburst". The photos have significant stains and paint marks, and one has burn damage on the edges. The largest measures approximately 13.5'' x 11''. Lots 1-28 and 30a are sourced from the same historic collection.
