Whiting, Cmdr. L. Conn, and Major J. Selegman, taken at Naval Air Station Dutch Harbor, Alaska, and prepared for Lt. L. W. Coulson. The grouping represents a cross-section of senior U.S. Navy and military leadership present in the Aleutian Theater during a critical period of the Second World War, amongst other photos depicting a banquet dinner, airplane scenes, and more. The largest photo measures approximately 10'' x 8''. Lots 1-28 and 30a are sourced from the same historic collection.
