Part of April 2026 Curiosities Auction (timed auction by Alaska Premier Auctions & Appraisals)

High bid $5.00

Status: Sold

Category: Art

Eight black-and-white photographs directly from the estate of Harvey (1900-1980) and Ellen Goodale (1915-1991). One of them has grid lines to guide the painter into accurately scaling the image onto a canvas. Three of the photos are portraits, such as a smiling fish packer and a prominent, likely King Island, man, while the remainder are nature scenes, including of Denali. All photos measure 14" x 11". Lots 1-28 and 30a are sourced from the same historic collection.
