A DC Universe: Rebirth #1 special "Midnight Release" variant comic book published in 2016 by DC Comics featuring a wraparound sketch cover by artist Ivan Reis. Written by Geoff Johns and illustrated by a powerhouse team including Phil Jimenez, Ivan Reis, Gary Frank, and Ethan Van Sciver, the story acts as a major turning point for the DC Multiverse, restoring the themes of legacy, hope, and love that many felt were missing from the previous New 52 era. The plot follows the original Wally West as he attempts to return from the Speed Force, acting as a narrator to reveal that ten years of history were "stolen" from the universe by a mysterious force - later revealed to be Dr. Manhattan from Watchmen. Notable story beats include the return of classic characters like Johnny Thunder, the reintroduction of Wally West to Barry Allen, and the first appearances of characters like Gotham and Ryan Choi as the new Atom. This copy is in exceptional 9.8 condition with white pages.
