A signed and numbered 2/90 silkscreen by Alaska artist Rie Muñoz entitled "Legend". The work features a whale, a crow, and an igloo in shades of blue, pink, and red. The text within the image reads as follows" "Most people, when they want a great deal, seldom get anything. But in the case of the old crow this was not true. As he flew wearily over the tundra, he saw a most marvelous sight: a dead whale had washed up on the beach. Crow built his igloo of whale meat now he could spend all winter in bed eating off his own igloo while outside the wind blew and the snow fell. The walls of his igloo were soon only a thin shell of meat. As the lazy old crow peered around his house to find yet another scrap of meat, a strong wind sprang up. It blew so hard it tore great holes in the thin walls of the crow's igloo. The next day he moved in with Mrs. Mink, who felt sorry for old, cold, lazy, crow." Titled, numbered, signed, and dated by the artist c.1977 across the bottom margin. Shrink-wrapped on board measuring approximately 24" x 20" with a sight view of 22.25" x 18.25".
