A signed and numbered 8/190 silkscreen by Alaska artist Rie Muñoz entitled "Caribou Hunter". The image illustrates an Athabaskan legend in which the caribou hunter came upon a woman in the woods. She asked to live with him, but the hunter refused, since he had a wife at home. Eventually, though, he consented to live with her in her cabin. The moment the hunter moved in, the weather turned bad and the animals disappeared, leaving them without food. The woman said she must leave him, and as she started up the mountain, the fog lifted, the sun came out, all the animals returned, and the man could hunt caribou again. Titled, numbered, signed, and dated by the artist c.1979 across the lower margin. Shrink-wrapped on board measuring approximately 17" x 24" with a sight view of 15" x 22".
