A signed and numbered 6/90 silkscreen by Alaska artist Rie Muñoz entitled "Raven Had Two Wives". The work portrays a pair of women, each carrying a large salmon, with a raven alongside and carrying his own salmon under his wing. According to legend, Raven fished every day and stored the salmon in a cache, but then he died in an accident. All winter, his two mourning wives lived on the stored fish, and when the supply was finally gone they wondered how they would survive. They solved the problem by turning back into ravens, according to the Athabaskan legend. Titled, numbered, signed, and dated by the artist c.1979 across the bottom margin. Matted in cream and framed in wood measuring approximately 20.5" x 26.5" with a sight view of 11.5" x 18".
