A signed and numbered 17/77 silkscreen by Alaska artist Rie Muñoz entitled "Raven Legend". The work shows a pair of women, each carrying a large salmon, with a raven trailing behind, carrying his own salmon under his wing. According to legend, Raven fished every day and stored the salmon in a cache, but then he died in an accident. All winter, his two mourning wives lived on the stored fish, and when the supply was finally gone they wondered how they would survive. They solved the problem by turning back into ravens, according to the Athabaskan legend. Titled, numbered, signed, and dated by the artist c.1981 across the bottom margin. Shrink-wrapped on board measuring approximately 17.25" x 24" with a sight view of 15.25" x 22".
