A numbered 239/1000 sericel entitled "Walt's 100 Years of Magic" and depicting many of Walt Disney's most beloved and iconic characters, including Mickey Mouse, Snow White, Dumbo, and Tinker Bell. This sericel edition, "Walt's 100 Years of Magic," features Walt Disney through the portals of Disneyland Park's Sleeping Beauty Castle, surrounded by sixty-four world-famous Disney characters from animated cels spanning Walt's remarkable career. "Walt's 100 Years of Magic" is a celebration of the man whose legend is is synonymous with fun, laughter and enchantment. These sericels are a reproduction of one hand-inked, hand-painted animated master specially created by The Animated Animations Company and Disney-supervised animation artists. American Atelier, in the production of these sericels, used the master cel as reference to create the reproductions. A total of sixty-six colors were used to create the color image, each of which has been exactingly screen-printed, one color at a time, onto the cel. The Animated Animations Company and Disney supervised the creation of the background accompanying this cel from a Disney Photo Library print of the black-and-white 1957 photograph of Walt Disney at Disneyland Park. Color Service, Inc. of Los Angeles, California, has lithographically printed the resulting background on premium-quality, acid-free paper. The Animated Animations Company, under license by Walt Disney Art Classics, published this limited edition in the year 2002. Matted and framed with Certificate of Authenticity en verso, it measures approximately 43" x 35" overall.
