A specially created, limited-edition sericel entitled "Fab Five Story Session" and depicting the five classic Disney characters: Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and Pluto. In this sericel edition, "Fab Five Story Session," the Disney crew gets together at the Walt Disney Studios for an "animated" story development conference. The Walt Disney Studios has created this character image using the fine art screen-printing process of color reproduction known as serigraphy. Disney artists specially created a hand-inked, hand-painted animation cel which was used by Team Art Studio of Gardena, California in the production of these sericels. A total of twenty-four colors are used to recreate the color image, each of which has been exactingly screen-printed, one color at a time, onto the acetate cel. To complement each piece, and to commemorate The Walt Disney Company's 75th anniversary, each mat bears a screen-printed remarque. The background scene accompanying this cel has been created under the supervision of Disney artists. The background artwork has been lithographically printed on premium-quality, acid-free paper by Anderson Printing of Los Angeles, California. This limited edition was produced in 1998. Matted and framed with Certificate of Authenticity en verso, it measures approximately 19.75" x 22.5" overall.
