Category: Fossils, Gems & Mineral Specimens

A visually striking group of natural Alaskan gold-in-quartz specimens, displaying rich, high-grade native gold formation within contrasting white quartz matrix. Gold-in-quartz specimens are among the most desirable forms of natural placer and lode gold, prized both for their intrinsic gold content and for the dramatic natural patterns created as crystalline gold forms through quartz-bearing veins deep within the earth. The pieces exhibit bright, naturally occurring gold with attractive exposure and character, ranging from dense vein material to more free-form nugget-like formations. Such specimens are especially sought after by collectors of natural gold, Alaska mining memorabilia, and mineral specimens due to the uniqueness of each formation; no two examples are exactly alike. The largest specimen measures approximately 1" long, with a combined total weight of 10.79 grams.
