This heavy-duty commercial truck was driven to our facility and is presented in fair overall condition consistent with prior vocational and fleet use. Built on Sterling’s rugged L9500 platform, this truck was originally configured as a boom truck and remains a strong candidate for repurposing into a service truck, utility platform, flatbed, equipment hauler, or custom vocational build. The boom assembly was removed prior to our receipt of the vehicle; however, the operator’s platform and stabilizing outriggers remain installed and intact on the chassis. The truck retains portions of its original auxiliary equipment setup, including PTO controls inside the cab. These controls have been taped over, and the operational status of the PTO system is unknown. We were unable to verify whether the controls were simply disabled following the boom removal or if there are underlying operational issues. Buyers are encouraged to perform their own inspections regarding PTO functionality and auxiliary hydraulic systems. The Sterling L9500 platform is known for its heavy-duty commercial construction, durable chassis design, and capability in demanding industrial, utility, and municipal applications.
