Manufacturer: Winchester Type: Rifle Model: 70 XTR Caliber: 300 WIN MAG Barrel Length: 24" Optics: None ATF Form 4473 Required: Yes Log: 3749 S/N: G1806435 Ref #: P23043797 Notes: A Winchester Model 70 XTR rifle chambered in .300 Win Mag with a 24" barrel and bolt-action operation. Purpose-built for hunting and long-range sporting use, offering the power and reach expected from a classic magnum bolt-action rifle. This bolt-action rifle features a blued steel receiver and barrel paired with a checkered wood stock, raised cheekpiece, and orange Winchester recoil pad for secure shoulder placement. The rifle is not fitted with optics, and no iron sights are shown. Controls and functional elements include a right-side bolt handle, internal magazine with hinged floorplate-style bottom metal, traditional trigger, and receiver drilled and tapped for scope mounting. Known for its flat trajectory and strong downrange energy, the .300 Win Mag offers dependable performance for medium to large game hunting. The chambering provides a combination of reach, power, and precision suited to open-country hunting and longer-range shooting applications. Condition appears good overall, with visible handling marks, scratches, and finish wear on the wood stock and exterior metal surfaces. A small crack is noted above the trigger on the right side. The blued finish remains presentable with areas of wear consistent with field use.
