Well-regarded in target shooting and recreational rimfire circles for its balance, accuracy potential, and classic K-frame handling. This double-action/single-action revolver features a blued steel frame paired with a blued barrel and cylinder, along with checkered wood grips bearing Smith & Wesson medallions for secure handling. The sighting system includes iron sights, with a ramp-style front sight and adjustable rear sight. Controls and functional elements include an exposed hammer, cylinder release latch, swing-out cylinder, ejector rod, and traditional curved trigger. The .22 LR chambering delivers low recoil, modest report, and economical shooting, making it practical for extended range sessions, target practice, and skill development. Its manageable handling characteristics appeal to both new and experienced shooters. Condition appears good overall, with visible handling marks, finish wear, and light surface wear on the blued metal surfaces. A chip is noted on the bottom of the grip, and additional wear is visible around the grip panels and exterior finish.
