Manufacturer: Remington Type: Rifle Model: 721 Caliber: 30-06 SPRG Barrel Length: 24" Optics: Pecar ATF Form 4473 Required: Yes Log: 3715 S/N: 156161 Ref #: P34037353 Notes: A Remington Model 721 rifle chambered in .30-06 SPRG with a 24" barrel and bolt-action operation. Favored by many for hunting and sporting rifle use, offering a balance of power, reach, and traditional bolt-action handling. This bolt-action rifle features a blued steel receiver and barrel paired with a wood stock and metal Remington buttplate for traditional field handling. The sighting system includes a mounted Pecar scope, with iron sights also present on the barrel. Controls and functional elements include a right-side bolt handle, internal magazine, traditional trigger, and manual safety positioned near the rear of the action. The .30-06 SPRG chambering is well-regarded for its versatility, effective range, and strong performance on medium to large game. It remains a popular sporting cartridge, offering a useful combination of power, trajectory, and broad ammunition availability. Accessories include a mounted Pecar scope and sling. Condition appears fair overall, with visible handling marks, finish wear, and age-related wear on the wood stock and blued metal surfaces. The bolt is missing critical components, and chipping and cracks are noted at the top of the buttstock. Additional wear is visible around the stock, buttplate, optic, and exterior metal surfaces.
