Manufacturer: Remington Type: Shotgun Model: 870 Caliber: 20 GA Barrel Length: 27.5" Optics: Iron Sights ATF Form 4473 Required: Yes Log: 3758 S/N: RS20069C Ref #: P18030363 Notes: A Remington 870 chambered in 20 gauge with a 27.5" barrel and pump-action operation. A solid contender for hunting, recreational shooting, and clay target use, with the build quality to handle regular field use. This pump-action shotgun features a blued steel receiver and vent-rib barrel paired with a wood stock and forearm for traditional handling. The sighting system includes a front bead sight mounted on the rib. Controls and functional elements include the slide-action forearm, right-side ejection port, trigger guard-mounted trigger, crossbolt-style safety, tubular magazine, and a Remington-branded rubber recoil pad. The 20 gauge chambering offers a balance of effective field performance and lighter recoil, making it practical for upland hunting, target shooting, and general sporting use. Its manageable handling characteristics appeal to shooters looking for a capable shotgun with less recoil than many 12 gauge platforms. Condition appears fair to good, with visible finish wear, surface spotting, and handling marks consistent with regular use. The wood stock and forearm show scratches, scuffs, and wear, while the metal components show finish thinning, oxidation, and notable surface wear in several areas.
