Manufacturer: RFI Type: Rifle Model: Ishapore 2A1Enfield Caliber: 7.62Nato Barrel Length: 25" Optics: Iron Sights ATF Form 4473 Required: Yes Log: 3717 S/N: P2677 Ref #: P23034230 Notes: An RFI Ishapore 2A1 Enfield chambered in 7.62 NATO with a 25" barrel and bolt-action operation. Purpose-built for military service and well-regarded among collectors for its Enfield-pattern handling, rugged construction, and historical appeal. This bolt-action rifle features a blued steel receiver and barrel assembly paired with a full-length wood stock and handguard. The sighting system includes iron sights, with a protected front sight and an adjustable rear sight assembly. Controls and functional elements include a manually operated bolt, exposed trigger, detachable box magazine, sling swivels, and military-style nose cap and barrel bands. The 7.62 NATO chambering offers a combination of reach, power, and practical accuracy suited to range use, military rifle collecting, and historical shooting disciplines. The Ishapore 2A1 pattern is notable for adapting the familiar Enfield-style action to the 7.62 NATO cartridge, giving collectors and shooters a recognizable platform with a later service-caliber chambering. Condition appears fair to good, with visible finish wear, oxidation, handling marks, and age-related patina throughout the metal surfaces. The wood stock and handguard show dents, scratches, finish wear, and service-type handling marks consistent with regular use.
