A birch bark drum-shaped backpack or gathering basket sewn together with binding, tentatively identified as tree root, and features animal hide shoulder straps. It has a tag signed illegibly by the Alaska Native craftsperson from Northway, Alaska, tentatively deciphered as Paulina E. Some lining material is loose, as is the fabric connecting the shoulder straps. The pack measures approximately 18.5" in diameter x 24" tall.
