A metamorphic children's high chair that features a dark leather button-tufted armchair with wooden feeding tray, and play table with wooden beads and faded pastoral scene. Designed with hinged front legs that allow the play table to flip upside down and serve as a taller base to raise the seated portion up to normal table height, rendering the pastoral scene and beads facing the floor, with the corner "finials" touching the ground as the feet of the high chair; the front wheels then are elevated of the ground in the back along with the rear wheels. Popularized during the late Victorian era and into the early 20th century, these mechanical pieces allowed a single piece of furniture to serve multiple purposes. Measures approximately 32" x 20.75" x 22.5" tall when arranged for play.
