A contemporary fossilized bone lidded bowl by the Fairbanks-based artist Chuck Leake, also known as the Mammoth Mogul. The lid is constructed from a section of beautiful polished mammoth tooth. There is some minor damage to the area around the vessel's interior rim, as photographed; the lid still sits snugly. The container measures approximately 7.5" x 7.25" x 4.5" high, including the cap.
