Purpose-built for hunting, field carry, and heavy-revolver shooting, offering strong magnum performance with the classic handling of a single-action platform. This single-action revolver features a blued steel frame paired with a blued barrel and six-shot cylinder, along with wood grip panels bearing Ruger medallions for secure handling. The sighting system includes iron sights with a ramp-style front sight and adjustable rear sight. Controls and functional elements include an exposed hammer, single-action trigger, loading gate, base pin, ejector rod assembly, and traditional revolver cylinder operation. The .44 Magnum chambering is renowned for its power, penetration, and terminal performance, making it well-suited for handgun hunting, field use, and range shooting with a heavy-recoiling revolver cartridge.
