Known for producing practical and capable trailerable sailboats, Tanzer yachts remain popular among recreational sailors thanks to their stable sailing characteristics and simple, durable construction. This vessel would make an excellent restoration project or an affordable entry into sailing for the right buyer. The hull appears to be structurally sound with no obvious signs of major exterior damage observed during our limited inspection. The interior, however, is in need of significant attention, with mold present throughout the cabin and areas of fiberglass damage requiring repair. Buyers should anticipate a thorough cleaning and restoration before returning the vessel to service. No outboard motor is currently included or installed with the boat. The accompanying trailer appears to be in good overall condition and was towed to our facility without issue. No further inspection or water testing was performed. Buyers are encouraged to inspect the vessel and trailer in person, review all available photos, and satisfy themselves as to the overall condition and completeness prior to bidding. *This vehicle description is based on general observation and does not constitute a comprehensive inspection or guarantee of condition. Per our Bidding Terms & Conditions agreed to before bidding on this auction, it is the bidder's responsibility to confirm vehicle condition via an in-person preview prior to bidding. A preview appointment is available on this vehicle by contacting our office at 907.570.7050, or email Admin@AlaskaPremierAuctions.com at least 24 hours prior to the auction closing date. If an in-person preview is not possible, we can attempt to provide additional pictures or a virtual video preview, time permitting with advanced notice. All bids and sales are considered final.
