A Elgin National Watch Co. Model 3 pocket watch with Grade 10 movement, produced circa 1885. This size 18s double hunter pocket watch is housed in a coin silver case with engine-turned guilloche decoration front and back, and a central floral cartouche to the front cover. The white enamel dial features black Roman numerals, blued hands, and a subsidiary seconds dial at six o’clock. The gilt-toned eleven jewel lever movement is visible beneath the rear cover and the watch has a crown and suspension bow present at the three o'clock position.
