A pair of Alvin Silver Company sterling silver candlesticks in pattern S159, with broad circular bases and a compact 3.5" height. Their matching proportions make a balanced table or mantel pair. The interiors are cement-filled and reinforced with another metal. Their combined gross weight is 674 grams, including filling and reinforcement; this is not the weight of the sterling silver alone. Both show extensive dark tarnish. Approximately 3.75" in diameter at the base x 3.5" high each.
