Three cake-serving utensils with scrimshaw-decorated ivory handles: a comb-like cake breaker, a broad server and a small knife. The scenes depict a reindeer pulling a sled and musher-and-dog teams. The cake breaker and knife are marked Nuguruk; the server bears a separate inscription that remains less clear. Nuguruk was used as a commercial company mark and should not be treated as the signature of an identified Alaska Native artist. A fine longitudinal check crosses the cake-breaker handle. Includes two boxes, care instructions and a C. J. Schneider pamphlet. Cake-breaker box dimensions: Approximately 11.5" x 0.75" x 4.25".
