Four carved or decorated wooden containers with Northwest Coast designs. A round container by Haida artist Clarence A. Wells (Canadian, 1950–2025) features a central mask flanked by salmon on its lid, creating the group’s principal sculptural centerpiece. The companion pieces are a Salishan Lodge lidded box with a blue bear motif, a round lidded jar with a carved and painted Thunderbird and a rectangular lidded box with a red-and-black salmon design. Together they show the range of carving, painted design and lidded forms represented in the lot. Largest round container approximately 10" in diameter x 2.75" high.
