A varied group of East Asian metal and enamel vessels. Two Japanese cloisonné pieces have rounded bodies and short feet: an open vase with turquoise, rust-red and gold-toned floral ornament, and a smaller covered jar with bright flower heads against a richly mottled red ground. A dark brown two-handled metal vase and a slender faceted red enamel vase add contrasting profiles; the latter bears a Japanese maker’s mark underneath. A coordinating Chinese cloisonné covered jar, shallow dish and matchbox cover are decorated with curling green dragons against red grounds, with blue borders and further scrollwork. The largest vase measures approximately 6.5" in diameter at the body x 6.25" high.
