Four Alaska Native yo-yos with paired weights in contrasting miniature forms. The group includes embroidered round sealskin pouches with a bone handle; pink fur-trimmed mukluk-shaped pouches with an elongated bone handle; round sealskin pouches reading “Top of the World” with a baleen handle; and fur-trimmed leather pouches with a sealskin-covered handle. The differences in stitching, handle materials and pouch shapes make this an appealing group of small functional handicrafts. Largest approximately 29" long, with pouches approximately 2.75" in diameter.
