A substantial early- to mid-20th-century seal-hide trail or storage bag, its thick brown panels forming a broad, structured body beneath an envelope-style flap. Leather fastenings and the heavy hide construction give this utilitarian piece a distinctive material presence. The hide has substantial surface wear and scuffing, and the carrying strap has a frayed break. Approximately 20" wide x 7.5" deep x 17.25" high.
