A decorative reproduction ceramic lidded box made to imitate argillite, with boldly modeled Northwest Coast formline-style figures across its lid and sides. Paired curving eye forms, beaks and broad body elements interlock within rectangular panels, with finely textured recesses providing contrast to the raised ornament. The fitted lid continues the relief decoration above the straight-sided body. Surface scuffs and scratches are visible, especially on the underside. Approximately 7" x 5.25" x 4.5".
