An owl-mask brooch in walrus ivory, painted with dark dotted decoration and signed on the reverse by Iñupiaq carver Eugene Tiulana (b.1953), originally from King Island, Alaska. The group also includes three tie tacks with Alaska Native-style designs, two incorporating walrus ivory; a miniature ulu; and an additional scrimshaw walrus ivory brooch and pendant. The owl-mask brooch measures approximately 1.5" x 2.25" tall.
