A large fringed Pakistani Bokhara-style area rug in beige and red, with a disciplined four-by-fifteen arrangement of quartered gul medallions across the central field. Repeating star or sun-like forms animate the red-and-yellow border, enclosed by smaller chevron and diamond bands. The extensive repeating pattern gives the approximately ten-and-a-half-foot length a strong sense of rhythm. Approximately 88" x 126" overall.
