Two original paintings in oil on canvas, depicting fishermen hauling a net from an open boat beside a larger vessel or dock, and a parka-clad figure ice fishing with a catch nearby. The reverse of the ice-fishing painting retains a typed note describing a woman at Kotzebue jigging tom cod with two sticks, a detail also visible in the composition. The note’s reference to Dr. DeWey is retained as a historical annotation, without assigning authorship. Both bear indistinct initials at the lower left, recorded as either I.E.A. or L.E.A. The artist remains unidentified. Dimensions: Each approximately 22" × 28" overall.
