Nine Pre-Columbian-style pottery pieces combining modeled human and animal forms in earthy brown and terracotta tones. A seated figure wears a prominent headdress and large ear ornaments. Five vessels include tall cylindrical examples with applied seated figures and rounded pots with projecting faces, arms and other modeled details. A small four-legged animal form with openings through its body, a detached head and a face-bearing fragment complete the group. The exaggerated features, varied silhouettes and textured surfaces make an expressive decorative grouping. Chips, surface wear, cracks and areas of material loss are visible. The animal form has a large underside opening and visible joined sections, while one tall vessel has a broad vertical loss through its side. The largest measures approximately 3.75" x 2.5" x 6.25" tall. Offered as found; no age, cultural origin or authenticity is represented.
