Two signed Artist's Proof photographs by Alaska wildlife photographer Johnny Johnson (1947–2025). The first, untitled photograph (©1989), depicts a large polar bear moving through shallow water beside a dark, wet shore. Its heavy pale coat and lowered head fill the image, with each step breaking the surface around its legs. The second, also untitled (©1993), shows a harp seal pup at sunset in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Nova Scotia. The pup lies low in a hollow of sea ice, its soft coat and dark eyes picked out by the rose and lavender light across the broken frozen surface. Both are signed, dated, and marked A/P in gold leaf ink and printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Supergloss paper. The photographs are shrink-wrapped on board. The largest photograph measures approximately 16.5" x 20.5".
