Three signed and numbered photographs by Alaska wildlife photographer Johnny Johnson (1947–2025). "Soul Mates", c.2006, is numbered 23/950. The artist's description reads: "As this pair of trumpeter swans moved closer, I sat perfectly still along the waters edge. The lake's surface, a mirror of the fiery sunset above, rippled with a gold sheen as the swans glided into camera range. Trumpeter swans are the largest of seven swan species found worldwide. Weighing up to 35 lbs., once paired they remain together for life. Eighty percent of the trumpeter swan population nests in Alaska." "Circle of Life", c.1995, is numbered 133/950. The artist's description reads: "Near a grounded iceberg along Antarctica's Riiser-Larsen Ice Shelf, a pair of emperor penguins watch over their three-month-old chick. Standing four feet high and always impeccably dressed, the emperor penguin is by far the world's most impressive bird. They are the largest of seventeen species of penguins, and they are the only living creature to breed and over-winter on the open ice of Antarctica." "King of the Loons", c.1992, is numbered 61/950. The artist's description reads: "A yellow-billed loon in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge prepares to shift the eggs in the nest. This photo was taken at 3 a.m. in June. The yellow-billed is the largest of all loons. They nest in lakes and ponds along the Arctic Coast." All three are signed, dated, and numbered in gold leaf ink and printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Supergloss paper. The photographs are shrink-wrapped on board; the largest photograph measures approximately 24.5" x 20.5".
