Two signed Artist's Proof photographs by Alaska wildlife photographer Johnny Johnson (1947–2025). The first "Polar Bear Standing" photograph, c.2004, depicts a large male upright on the frozen shore of Hudson Bay, Manitoba, Canada. Its mouth is open and its broad forepaws are held in front of its body, while the pale fur nearly blends into the snowy background. The second "Polar Bear Standing" photograph, also c.2004, shows a large male standing on the Hudson Bay ice pack. The bear faces the viewer with both forepaws raised against its chest, surrounded by patches of dark ice and snow. Both are signed, dated, and marked A/P in gold leaf ink and printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Supergloss paper. The photographs are shrink-wrapped on board. They measure approximately 24.5" x 20.5".
