"Soul Mates", c.2006, is a signed photograph by Alaska wildlife photographer Johnny Johnson (1947–2025), numbered 15/950. The accompanying artwork description leaflet reads: "As this pair of trumpeter swans moved closer, I sat perfectly still along the waters edge. The lake's surface, a mirror of the fiery sunset above, rippled with a gold sheen as the swans glided into camera range. Trumpeter swans are the largest of seven swan species found worldwide. Weighing up to 35 lbs., once paired they remain together for life. Eighty percent of the trumpeter swan population nests in Alaska." The photograph is signed, dated, and numbered in the lower left corner in gold leaf ink and printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Supergloss paper. Also included are a 1997/98 The Art of Johnny Johnson Limited Edition Ilfochrome photographs catalog and a postcard with multiple Johnny Johnson images. The artwork is matted and framed under glass, measuring approximately 30.5" x 27.75" overall.
