Two signed Artist's Proof wildlife photographs by Alaska wildlife photographer Johnny Johnson (1947-2025). The first work, "Lion Pride", is signed and dated circa 2004. A small pride rests in the green grass of the savanna beneath an immense blue sky. Billowing white clouds stretch across the scene, with the lions low in the foreground and the open plain extending well into the distance. The second work, "Cat Nap", is signed and dated circa 1994. Several lions lie stretched along a heavy tree branch in the shade, their paws and tails hanging loosely below the limb. One raises its head while the others rest, surrounded by dark branches and hanging foliage. Both pieces are signed and dated in the lower left or right corner in gold leaf ink and printed on Ilfochrome. A care guide and artist's biography are included on the reverse. Each one is shrink-wrapped on board and measures approximately 24.5" x 20.5".
