Two signed Artist's Proof photographs by Alaska wildlife photographer Johnny Johnson (1947–2025). "Mother Lion with Twin Cubs" (©2004) shows a lioness stretched out in tall green grass as her twin cubs nurse close against her. The warm brown coats are picked out by the light, while the surrounding grass shelters the small family. "Cat Nap" (©1993) depicts a pride of lions resting along a broad tree branch. Bodies and paws hang loosely over the limbs, with the dark canopy above them and glimpses of the open landscape beyond. Both photographs are signed and dated in the lower left corner in gold leaf ink and printed on Ilfochrome. A care guide and artist biography are included on the reverse. Each photograph is shrink-wrapped on board, and "Cat Nap" measures approximately 20.5" x 24.5".
