Two signed and numbered photographs by Alaska wildlife photographer Johnny Johnson (1947-2025). The first work, "Autumn Tundra", is dated circa 1981 and numbered 480/950. The accompanying description reads: "On a misty day in August I set out with my macro lens to capture the tundra in Denali National Park. I chanced upon an incredibly diverse patch of vegetation: bog berries, low bush cranberries, lichen moss and blueberries. The popularity of this image has led me to try and duplicate it, but I have never been able to find this particular combination of plants again." The second work, "Autumn Passage", is dated circa 1993 and numbered 594/950. The accompanying description reads: "Four bull caribou migrate through the autumn tundra near Wonder Lake in Denali National Park. Fall comes early in Alaska. I composed this shot in late August when the tundra's miniature forest of dwarf birch and willow turns a brilliant red and yellow. Tucked up against a hillside - hidden from view - my wife and I sat quietly for the better part of an afternoon waiting for these four caribou to approach. Our patience was rewarded." Both are signed, dated, and numbered in the lower left corner and center in gold leaf ink and printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Supergloss paper. Also included is a 1997/98 The Art of Johnny Johnson catalog. They are matted and framed under glass. The larger measures approximately 27.5" x 31" overall.
