Two signed and numbered wildlife photographs by Alaska wildlife photographer Johnny Johnson (1947-2025). The first, "Cry of the Wild", depicts a grey wolf standing on a snowbank with its head tipped back and its mouth open in a howl. Pale snow surrounds its thick grey coat, and a dark, softly focused forest fills the background. The second, "Moon Over Denali", is dated circa 1987 and numbered 411/950. Denali is bathed in pink and purple alpenglow beneath a deep blue sky, with a half moon visible in the upper left. The mountain's color is reflected in the dark water below. The work is signed, dated and numbered in the lower left corner in gold leaf ink. Photographs are printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Supergloss paper. Also included are 1997/98 The Art of Johnny Johnson Limited-Edition Ilfochrome photographs catalog, 1991 Alaska Magazine, Limited-Edition The Art of Johnny Johnson cibachrome photographs booklet, and an artist's biography sheet. They are both matted and framed under glass. The larger measures approximately 25.75" x 20.5" overall.
