Two signed and numbered photographs by Alaska wildlife photographer Johnny Johnson (1947-2025). The first work, "Ancient Dreams", is dated circa 2004 and numbered 112/950. The accompanying description reads: "For thousands of years the polar bear has walked the Arctic ice in a mist of myth, legend and superstition. Mother bears are fiercely protective and devoted to their cubs. The twins in this image are sharing a tender moment with mom before resuming their never ending search for food." The second work, "Mother's Touch", is dated circa 2000 and numbered 28/950. The accompanying description reads: "On the broken ice floes of Hudson Bay in northeast Canada, a female polar bear comforts her two cubs as the wind and falling temperatures begin to wear them down." Both are signed, dated, and numbered in the lower left corner in gold leaf ink and printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Supergloss paper. Also included are 1997/98 The Art of Johnny Johnson catalogs, an artist's biography sheet, and issues of PDN, Action Line, and Johnny Johnson's 2001 Alaska Wildlife Calendar with sticky notes bearing the artwork titles "Mother's Touch" and "Ancient Dreams". They are matted and framed under glass. The larger measures approximately 27.5" x 31.75" overall.
